How does the laser process work?

How large or small should the photograph be?

A standard 3 x 5 photograph works well. Using larger photographs will result in the photograph being cropped to fit the size of the stone portrait (6" x 6"). Smaller photographs may produce a blurry image when enlarged to fill the portrait area.

Can I use a scanned photograph?

Yes, however, due to the variations of scanned images (i.e. color correction, brightness, contrast, etc.) your portrait may differ in appearance from your scanned photograph. If you are experienced with a photo enhancement software program, such as Photoshop, the image you provide may be just fine. Unfortunately, we can not be responsible for the?quality of your finished stone portrait.

Will?my stone?portrait appear clearer than the original photograph?

No. The quality of your stone portrait depends on the photograph supplied. A well exposed photograph with good detail will reproduce a stone portrait that is elegant and beautiful. On the other hand, a poorly exposed photograph will reproduce with poor detail and may appear lighter or darker.

Will my photograph be returned?
